The IMC manual recommends everything from 5w-30 to 20w50. It's like saying use whatever, what do we care

It's not harmful, it's unnecessary loading. The CCS values are significantly different. It'slike putting conventionalspark plugs in a vvehicle that requires iridium. They won't damage the engine but the output will be compromised. And all oil manufacturers do tell you to use this grade in old vehicles only. I am sure they know their oils better than IMC.

No safety. As I found out the hard way with the last gen corolla. Had my sister demonstrate it to me while the car was running at 60. I remember the Grinding noise like all hell broke lose in the engine and gears. Surprisingly it still ran after the screeching halt. But the car smelled like burnt plastic from a short circuit for the rest of the day. You could even smell it three houses far.
Never found out what happened in the engine that day but I'm glad it still runs like new.

My uncle's civic, 10k done, all the black rubber on door rests is gone. My neighbours were delivered a city in 2010 with missing air-conditioning ducts. All city come without an air conditioning filter even though it's marked on the evaporator. Honda has its share of screw ups. You've been lucky. Like I have always been with Toyota this far. Fingers crossed for the new one expected next month inshAllah.

To be on safe side do inform your dealer and IMC helpline. I had scanned the PBOo and emailed it myself and kept multiple photocopies at home. Now I am in habit of taking a snapshot of all docs I get in my cell phone.

First mistake you kept Honda, second mistake you bought Toyota, third mistake you do not expect such minor problems in Toyotas.

All my life I have kept Corollas and never faced a single issue with them. Bro that does not mean that all cars that leave Toyota or Honda have no faults.

There are many happy customers of 11th Gen on Pakwheels, who did not have any annoying issues with their Corollas. Those who had got them fixed on first visit.

So why people are ditching their Citian and Civics and thronging Toyota showrooms?

Although I had problem of colour difference and GPS problem. But they solve it free of cost.
Some problem light paint is off below lights etc etc these are common in all. I kept Honda city for 6 years and in 6 years at 100000 km engine was over and paint ruined . No offense Toyota suspension is for Pakistan and token is also less than Honda.

After using honda city for 5 years, we decided to switch to toyota since the new generation Toyota appealed regarding its design and interior. On May 29th, Toyota Altis 1.6 was delivered and we were really excited. Exactly 10days after the delivery, the car failed to start. It was quite a disappointment. Anyways the next day at Toyota dealership after a lot of argument they admitted that it was a faulty battery. Now today on June 26th its rubber from front wind shield is coming off. I must say the general perception that if you're a honda owner you should never switch to Toyota is becoming true. Of course they will change it at the dealership but one doesn't buy a new car to visit dealership for one problem after another and to undergo this agony. I'm utterly disappointed and as soon as new generation of Honda civic is announced I would like to shift back to Honda.

Brother i just got my civics inside door pannels replaced as all four had plastic lamination and it was badly comming off. Had to wait for exactly two months to get the varanty claim from honda gateway and they arrived after my cars varanty expired. I am only writing this to calm u down as anything can happen now a days quality is the least concern for all companies only cost cutting is kept in their practice.

Tail alignment issue: yes it has on my car but i didn't bother to correct it as it looks negligible to me.

Steering column Correction: My steering column is perfectly aligned no problem at all.

Paint correction: yes over sprayed on some panel but can be corrected by detaling.

whenever i wake up in the morning and go to my garage this beautiful ride is standing there with all the charm that it has . I can live with these minor issues and will enjoy this ride to the fullest. I love this shape at the time when it was launched in Thailand and i wished that same shape would be launch in Pakistan too and i will definitely buy that so today i have this car. Just look at the car man , what a grace. Treat to watch

Honda cars are also having issues but the thing is whether your dealer correct it or not. I have changed my civic 2013 tail lights two times , one battery replacement , passenger side black button panel and few things more but all under warranty. I am happy with my honda dealer too.

Yes there should not be big issues like you take the delivery and very next day your car engine fell off or you are missing with your tail light I thank to my Allah for all these blessings.

normally a month minimum time baki priority pe 10 days mein bhi ah sakti

I booked mine on 15 June. .. when should I expect it... after Eid ? I m sure there would be a lot deliveris aligned before Eid, hence lot of rush.

Never buy anything just before Eid, because if something went wrong, you will be grounded for the entire week-long holidays. Eid kay baad bhee kaam dheela maatha hota ha.
