dude you don't have to switch off the AC at any incline .. it is a new vehicle .....

I was just being careful otherwise I take my Prius all the way up with AC on all the time. This was the blacky's maiden journey to Monal so was just taking some precautions.

Alright guys time to bust the so-called "under-powered" blind baseless theories related to 1.3 GLi AT.

Finally took the car to Monal today, 4 occupants on board and half tank of fuel, covered half the distance in full AC and afterwards kept switching it on and off according to the incline.

Not even ONCE it felt like the car was giving up or struggling to its bits, went quite smooth all the way despite the fact that I was stuck behind some slowpokes because of whom I occasionally had to brake in-between an incline.

The car went very smoothly even through the toughest curves where normally cars have to struggle to climb, I must say I am impressed and now can even take this car to Northern Areas In Shaa Allah.

The Michelins have certainly improved the handling and grip otherwise before the tires changed I didn't even think of taking it up there on the crappy EuroStars.

Bro then its obviously Michelins ka Kamaal...Otherwise if on Eurostars you were hesitating to go up there then this surely can be true that your car performed really well on Monal coz of those Michelins which have much better traction than normal and conventional tyres!!!

Please give your views on what I have stated!!!

These tires are pretty much grippy compared to the EuroStars, but they do not add to the horsepower! I was hesitant on the old tires because I never liked or trusted Euros that's why didn't take it there otherwise I saw several GLi/GLi AT with the stock tires going perfectly fine.
If you want to stick to the "under-powered" thing that's your choice but for family purpose this car is perfectly good.
Plus these Michelins are the stock size that is 195/65/15.

Stock tires around 2900 km driven got adjusted for 12k paid 24k on top for these Michelins. Shop was Asad Tires Rawalpindi. These are Michelin Energy XM2.

iam very very confused if i choosed 1.6
i dont know what will be its future as maybe if people stop buying 1.6 after a year or two maybe indus stops its production ? im saying because i have seen failure of altis in last gens
know what you guys suggest i love 1.6 in every bit but this resell thingy is taking me back and my father is also not in support for 1.6 due to resell factor ?
in hyderabad i have hardly seen 5 6 1.6 till now

@cooltahir .. "price break down" it is my humble opinion, if someone is not comfortable with 1.3 he should opt 1.8 ... if I were you I must seriously try to get 1.8 Altis .. Grande features are not my requirement
