Buy Altis 1.8 CVTi (Non-Grande) with closed eyes. Why? Because it is new engine and latest Toyota transmission introduced in Pakistan. The latest engines are transmission are good a both power and economy and driving pleasure.

I would suggest you to go for Grande, because you will get pedal shifters. I am watching Top Gears these days and noticed that most of the cars that they have on show for review have pedal shifters and it is fun to downshift or upshift whenever one feels the need for it and rest of the time drive it as an automatic car.

If you have budget always go for top the line variant.

I don't know anything about pedal shifters, but still would like to have them when budget will allow me to go for up variant

The car changes the gear itself, no cut off aswell.

Changed Altis 1.6 tires from Eurostars to Yokohama Adven dB v551 made in Japan. Opt 205/65/R15 size by compromising little bit fuel Economy (i will try to cover up this fuel economy by other things). I am having 1.6 L engine so 205/65/R15 will not create much load on engine and suspension. Sold my old Eurostar tires 7500 km driven for Rs 14000/- . I managed to sell it for Rs 15000/- but rubber on front tires deteriorate more then the rear tires. So we both agreed on Rs 14000/-.

Outcome is pretty Satisfied.

Sir i was floating on the road with 40 psi in tires so that they can settle down in Rims. Hardly drove 10 km on a smooth road. Road noise reduced. I am not a rash Driver so dont know about cornering and also i never use ABS till now due to calm driving so i was happy with eurostar too but i have in my mind that they get too hard after 15 to 20k and some reduction in driving charm too with them, may be i am wrong. I want softness and a bit floating like drive with a good grip (gari pani ke tarah chalay. lol :p).

I am happy that you are enjoying your life other wise the differential calculation for the CVT gear ratios could have left you without the stamina to even lift a cup of tea. [emoji4]

I need to see some thing.. you changed your tyres direct from sheikh brothers karachi i thing. please do that whenever you get time. Waiting for your response

Brother I didn't buy directly from sheikh brother's. They are in Karachi and I live in Lahore.
I called them and they referred to Speed Tires in Faisal Town Lahore, according to them, Speed Tires is there main dealer and I can trust them.
Speed Tires gave me the warranty card of Sheikh Brothers..
Anyways below is the close up of date on one of the tires..

Congrats brother, you did a right a thing to choose 205 over 195.
You will be more satisfied with 205.
