first of all 20w -50 is mineral base oil with less resistance less mileage and no performance against sludge deposits and high friction means metal to metal contact and will lose its properties after 3000km
yes it does not harm the engine and yes engine will be running good till 0 to 100k to 200k as said by other respected pakwheel members.
suppose when you will drive the car till 50,000 if you are using 20w50 and then suddenly you switch towards semi synthectic
10w40mos2 u will need flush and when you will drain the oil u will clearly see how crystal clear was your engine.
5w50 fully synthectic is for cars for high heat production racing cars and its relatively thick.
20w50 for cars after 90k for weaker rings.
10w 30-5w30 and 5w40 is good for new cars be sure to pour good brand oil.
now 5w-50 is a oil made from base oil plus uniform chemical additives/molecules to remain their lubrication for a longer time.
now if some one says that its good for summers then its totally wrong. 5w30 or 5w40 will also do the job.
its a relatively thick oil and when u will rev your car you will feel heaviness because of thick oil. if u are a keen observer.
and this 5w50 by toyota is made in pakistan
i could be wrong about the company supplying it but its total.
as honda is also getting oils from total.
when u will pour fully synthetic 5w30 or 5w 40 u will see clear difference and in mileage pick will increase and thats damm sure
if u were using 5w50 or 20w50 by toyota.
Engine will remain crystal clear because of fully synthetic oil if
try imported brands as i dont trust these pakistani people
will do any thing to generate more profit even it ruins other car.

at back of the bottle says made in singapore or korea but they didnt write sealed over here in pakistan

I am not against these local oils but against these people who are not making oils up to quality and standards like international
