i have mounted a chinese screen on extreme left of dashboard for rear cam and cartoon for my kid on highways. costed just 3k. for maps i consult sygic on my 5.5 inch cellphone. But a few times sygic has let me down on a few bypass and small towns.

Google map on 3g data rocks when sygic ditches you on a confused pathway.

I was out of town. Drove my Gli 1010 Kms in 3 days. Fully satisfied with its performance.
Regarding your query, I am using Continental CC5 tyres in 195/65/15 size.
They are made in Malaysia and bought from Khan tyres Melody Market Islamabad, but someone was saying that they have recently shifted to Blue Area. I sold stock eurostar tyres for 18K. Bought these new tyres for Rs. 8500/- per tyre.

during this eid holidays I saw 16.8 km/litre for my Gli MT on highway 14K driven, but I dont believe it, because some times in city it shows 9.5 But where as my manual calculation tell its 11.5 to 12km/litre in city.

One stop for a minute or two would reduce the average to 9.5 km/l very quickly. I have noticed this on my Gli MT too. It would stay at 9-10 in City. I have also seen an XLi MT showing 50.1 km/l on highway, so this calculation done by the car is not correct. Shift to the ODO meter reading and drive with peace of mind.

There is no brand of screen just chinese in the box lcd with usb and memory card option. Will share the snap on friday or saturday as i am out of town for a couple of days.

Wires are not hanging around. wires are behind glove box and for rear cam under foot boards.

this one is "China ka maal " and also easily available in simple black color without light .. by the way light does not turn on now after 1.5 month use.I am sure it is available in few of Karachi's auto market shops
