anybody any idea about the side skirts cost of new corolla. not the complete body kit only side skirts like the one installed in saloon models of 2000-2007 corolla by toyota.

Hi ppl, today while washing the car with pressure washer this thing came off somewhere from the under body. I've critically examined the car from bottom but every thing seems to be in place.
Any idea where it is attached?

Check ur trunk as trunk has a simmilar round robber under the spare wheel. Its used for draining water if u wash ur spare tyre area.

I'll agree with Mohtaram @ptvgrind Sahib. It looks like a plug for a hole in the floor of the car to keep water out. Look closely sir and you'll find its place in the floor. If you need to put it back after finding its hole, use silicone glue around it to help hold it in its place.

I paid Rs 1300/- in February 2015 for Grill Strips. I got it done at Toyota dealership while taking delivery. There is 3M double tape attached on its back for stick on. These are Early pieces with very fine Quality. Didn't fade yet or didn't lose its charm/shining yet.

A week before i saw a grill strips with cheap double tape and a bit rough. Find some good one if you want to opt that.

I think you'll have to pay more for such a gimmicky card the purpose of which is to extort money from the public.

Just learnt that you have to pay Rs. 1425/= for this stuff. One thing is good about it. If you lose the card, you can get a duplicate, but will the duplicate card say 'duplicate', thereby reducing the value of the vehicle as in the case of a duplicate book?

I think if this is introduced all over Pakistan, it will help reintroduce interprovincial and interdistrict transfer of cars which was abolished because it promoted fake registration papers.

1300 is quite cheap. I was skimming thru one IMC dealership's price list in which 12000 were quoted for the same job, with these words, "Front Chrome Grill Complete". Don't know why were they charging that much?

I too payed 1k for chrome strips , just what i wanted and pretty cheap too.
You can easily get full grill for 6-7k as well

That depends on the quality of material and common sense of the mechanic.

If you can live with the original grill that would be better. It looks good too.
