Brother I have one question.. Don't you think advan performs really bad on rough roads and pot holes as compare to EuroStar..
I am using advan as well but somehow not very happy with them.. What do you say..
What tyre pressure are you keeping in all four tyres..

Firstly, Euro is not as bad as the perception has been set in this forum. Its meant for rough road conditions and it performs well at it.

Imported tires we talk about are meant for different conditions and are more suitable for carpeted roads.

So make a choice based on your usage. I drive 98% on carpeted road, so i opted for soft tire and i am happy with it.

in corollas' suspension, Eurostar works better on rough roads.
If you want to change the Eurostar then go for Pirelli.

Advan DB works good in honda city.

Tire performance depends on car's suspension

Brother I have already installed Advan DB, but now thinking of going back to Euro's. One might think am stupid but the comfort level, which you feel with EuroStars isn't there in imported tyres.
At least in Corolla Advan killed all the pleasure of comfy ride, which I enjoyed in the early days of purchasing 11th generation..
I believe imported tyres are for those who wants do some aggressive driving or travel on motorway every once in a week or month..
Anyways that's my analysis so far..

Yes the only drawback of db is rough roads but still I would prefer them over euros. Euro stars are a bit durable here. But for rough roads get Michelin XM2, one tough tyres they are even tougher than euro.

Instead of them, if your budget allows go for xm2. It's noiseless, which euro isn't, it has enormous grip which euros lack and overall improves braking and handling which euros can't even think of.
On the other end, it is hell durable. I have them on my Prius and its driven 50k on the most deadliest roads of lahore. Till now only the rear tyres got punctured once. The front ones are still puncture free.

Brother don't know on which carpeted roads you travel but I have tried them on almost every road in Lahore and they have disappointed me a lot.. Even though a small pebble on the road can be felt..
May be an exaggerating but that's how it is..
Even though one of the tyre shop wala said these tyres are more suitable for civics suspension not for Corolla though.
Now am really confused about Pirelli as well.. What if Pirelli performs the same way.. Then I will have to lose money their as well..

Brother one of the shopkeeper also said that XM2 starts producing noise after 10,000 KMS.. Don't know how authentic is that..

Advan DB got popular due it's comfort level. It's a pro in that manner no doubt. King of comfort I must say. Used it on several of my rides. Anyways that shopkeeper must be luring you to get any other tyre, no scene of noise in xm2 even after 40k kms.

Advan DB is silent but not too comfy on rough roads.
Yokohama Aspec is better in comfort.

Brother I would like you to enlighten me in this regard.. May be I don't know how to judge the comfort level of a tyre..
I judge the comfort level while going through rough patches of a road..
On a carpeted road, every tyre gives you comfort.. Only difference can be of road noise.. Which differs in each tyre.

On small bumps and pebble my Passo is more smooth its seat and suspension is v soft compared to corolla. But when it comes to big bumps with loaded car corolla rocks whereas Passo fails.

I my opinion Corolla suspension is "hard" and performs "Soft" under loaded conditions.

honestly speaking sir they are simply pathetic,
my gli feely hell noisy on bumpy roads and potholes, they have worse shape too they looks ugly
but road, noise road grip, brakes and handling are good with euros though

yes sir average im getting is quite low.
but its in break in period
it will get improved after 5k kms

Well you are absolutely right, corollas ride is hard but when you put load like three to four people on board then it starts performing soft..
Anyways my other ride is civic eg.. I can't compare corollas ride with it.
Before this one I had 9th generation Gli, it was hardly used, When I sold it.. It was running on Dunlop sp 702.. Never felt like the way I feel in Advan.. May be they were hard compound tyres..
You are right, I have hard earned money that is the sole reason, which is holding me back..
Looks like, I have to stick to these for the time being..
