Bro u r right but we living in lahore and seriously man in gulberg defence and infact in whole lahore their is not place left where u can even push the accelator of ur 1.3 auto and if one wants to kick in race and likes engine roar he must buy 1.8
I only wrote this long reply bcoz 1.6 owners are always comparing with 1.3 and talking about value for money and value for money than why not compare Grande;)

So bhaiyo real value for money is Altis Grande Cvti not 1.6 bcoz when u sit in ur car u enjoy it with gadgets and 1.3 auto is like 1.6 altis bcoz no diff in interior at all only a crappy screen is installed which u can get it for 10-15000 and yes 300cc engine which u r talking about is also an old engine.
If u r an enthusiast than talk about Grande rest its everyone's own choice and all.
Aliusman also told u that he reaches from point A to B in same time he reaches on his prius so 300cc and roar of engine and all is of no use in this heavy traffic
If engine roar is the issue than go and check the roar of 1.8 cvti grande and u will see a clear difference

PS: No 1.6 owner is fighting his case, but sharing the experience so that others can make informed choice. 1.6 is not the best as it is in the middle of the current Corolla range.

People ask me I always tell them to go for Grande if they have budget. If not at least try to make it to 1.6 as 2NZ-FE is not that fun (personal experience spanning over 10 years).

By the way people here are saying that 1zrfe is an old engine as compare to 2zrfe..
As far as I know, both engines belong to same family and were launched at the same time..
Only difference they have is 200cc that's it..
Kindly shed some light if I am wrong.

This is not the thing that 1.3 also goes there where 1.6 goes. Even Mehran does the job in city and can move you even quicker than 1.8 from point A to point B.

Off course Grande is the best variant. Totally agree. But moving from Gli to Grande is more costlier than from Gli to 1.6 which is a small step and difference in driving and power is great.

Totally agreed with the above. In case of filer, going from 1.6 to 1.8 CVTi Grande costs more than double of going from 1.3 auto to 1.6

From 1.6 to 1.8 CVTi Grande = 350,000+25,000+10,000 = 385,000

From 1.3 auto to 1.6 = 125,000+20,000+25,000 = 170,000

Yes i was selling but ab Civic ka wait karne ka soch raha hoon. Agar 1.5 agaye aur range main bhi aagaye to civic warna 1.6 altis. Is leye foren nai sell kar raha. 2 3 month baad.
