Tested Grande again today at traffic free(empty) roads. Some observations:
1: The acceleration i even found it better than civic manual today.The car gets to 120kmh in same time and road patch as reborn got 100kmh. It constantly hit 100kmh on smaller road patches with full flooring.
2:The response of CVTi coupled with 2ZR-FE is excellent at all RPMS. Engine sound is also very good.
3: I today felt that steering also got heavier with increasing speed which is nice.
4: Car always felt in control with great braking power and grip thanks to Michellins.
5: Tried paddle shifter for sometime today too and i think they will benefit on uphills and downhills for engine braking. Nice response of paddle shifters also

It is VERY fast yaar, you're late. Definitely not faster than a manual civic with proper shifts but with a manual pushed normally (not 6k RPM shifts necessarily) in city limits, it can put it to shame. Excellent road grip, I sometimes imagine what it would be like to have it with normal ride height. And OH YES LOL, EPS is speed sensitive. What did you think?

If it's A/T, it's pretty good for A/T.

If it's manual then then you can't expect anything above than it.
