I suggest you talk to your dealer or the TPL guys who issue these nav cards, sure they would provide a replacement.

we are unable to book a cvt grande. none of the showrooms are taking bookings. so far ive tried toyota rawal, capital and gt. whats going on?

Something to do with allocations not being made? I called toyota indus and they werent so sure about it either. They said theyll get back to me on this..

This car goes everywhere in Islamabad and Alhamdulillah never had an issue with the plates, this car even goes in the Red Zone quite frequently. All of my 3 cars have black plates and Alhamdulillah didn't have any issues so far.

Visit the dealer and tell him to replace the card. My driver formatted the card while trying to copy movies to it (retard). I got a new one from Toyota Capital Motors.

dear members,
Alhamdolillah my gli has covered 3k till date and going strong,
although i have a question ,
i always wash my car with my pressure washer 'kercher K2' but when i wash wheel arches and the gaps ( where rear shocks are placed) due to heavy pressure of washer black color of wheel arches specialy the plastic ones always chips off iam worried as its under part which is covered with plastic type thin sheet or color will chip of from it and metal will be visible which will catch rust,
i will share pics after few mins

as its clearly seen in pics,
the whitish color is visible which means some paint or whatever this black thing is called has been chipped off from it,
pics are not clear as car is parked in very tight place.
but as seen its just washed 4-5 times and this black thingy is chipped off in near future it will be washed again and again And Allah knows how much amount will be removed,
i didn't faced any issue in swift mehran and my 2007 model corolla
imc should raise thier quality standard now

So mystery solved. Today went to get delivery of my car and the sales rep was saying that grande is getting Immobilizer so that's why they weren't taking any deliveries. He also said that they weren't taking deliveries because of their fiscal year ending and Indus hasn't updated the new year booking schedule yet.

@COOLTAHIR. if the paint has chipped off, your only solution in to paint it again. Get your hands on some rust oleum undercoating or any other undercoating spray and just spray the parts yourself. A mat black spray paint can also do the job.
These areas have the thinnest coat of paint that's why they chipped off easily. Try to be careful in these area when using the K2, increase the distance slightly when you reach these areas to avoid the chipping. I have also chipped off paint from some areas like these with my k2.

Yup only immobiliser and that too in grande only. This is what i heard from the dealer.

Right now it's the most suitable option if you can afford one; certainly better than 9th gen civic(outgoing model) in terms of newer engine with cvt and newer shape. Not to forget, it has stability issues at higher speeds and quality of workmanship is not at par with the civic plus it is also prone to thefts.
