Frankly I have driven alot of car's, but never liked a Corolla since the '88 model.

This one is awesome, the 1.6 engine with the ECT Trxm, feels like really a sports car trying to take off.

Toyo's further make it a soundless beast.

As someone has already said before, I wouldn't want to have this kit on my even if toyota offer it for free. They(Indus) could have atleast throw a set of 16" wheels to go with it.

Instead of bodykits, they should offer a lowered variant with engine mods, performance exhaust, alloys with low profile tyres, racing seats and reduced weight and call it Sportivo or TRD whatever.

My father back home in Pakistan (rwp) recently got the delivery of his super white altis 1.6. Can anyone suggest what are the options to get the navigation working? I dont want him to go through any hassles in looking for options so I will be in Pak for two weeks and want to get it sorted for him.

Toyota will ask for a lot of money just for a simple nav card. What's the most viable and effective solution to make navigation work for his ride? Any help would be hugely appreciated. The solution shouldn't be very techy as he would struggle with such solutions.

In Karachi specially Toyota central & Shara e Faisal force us to get registration and insurance should be done by them and at their price, so no choice

Even Toyota Eastern take the advance payment for the registration. I think it is good to have the reg b4 it comes out on roads. The law to be follwed yes they may be charging some premium but saving from hastle. Consider 5000 as service cost it is not much considered 2 million of the car price.

Their insurance rate is 3.99% (Adamjee and TPL) which is a bit higher. As someone previously said it can be done in 3.5 % still the difference over 2 million will be 8000.

Many Thanks for that. So do I just get an SD card and download the maps from map factor on it? Is the sat nav in altis android based? It may sound like very obvious questions but as I haven't seen the car myself I am not completely aware as to what sort of system it is.

No sat navi of 1.6 altis is winCE based and yes install the program on sd card and than the pakistan map, the installation will guide you. Once the program installed on sd card insert the sd card in the car navi and click on navi option, in drive folder run the .exe file and thats it it will install the navigation. If you need any help let me know.
