I hope you are not installing that in car? Where will the passengers sit?. Anyways there are many other possible solutions for a chill cooling system.. Stick near to the original & cooling will be amazing no need to go for this split unit or under dash. Standard fitting with upgraded parts can make it super chill. If you were in Islamabad I would have gotten your car super chill.. Just find a good ac guy in your area and interview him that for better cooling what strategy he tells and write that strategy here and then will tell you how reliable and efficient his proposed system would be.

The unit he is referring to is for large trucks, not feasible for small cars.. And that too is very very expensive to import and then install. So not a good idea at all.

on this topic of additional ACs,

any one have any idea about complete AC units for use in CRANES? installed behind the cab and run of the hydraulic system of the crane.

i have a manitowoc RT540e, with a problematic AC. the AC compressor is belt driven, gas circulates through the turn table piping... too many points for gas leakage.

any one who deals with this in pakistan?

you never want to run the compressor of the AC off the hydraulic system of a crane unless you really really love replacing pumps.

Cant you use a electric compressor?

electric compressors are typically used in hybrid/electric cars, they run of High voltage hybrid battery.

a crane typically has a 12 volt or 24 volt system with a 100 amp alternator. not suitable for electric compressors.

hydraulic drive compressor AC systems are available. but dont know whos dealing with these in pakistan.
