Seems a nice adventure trip. Do give some details of your trip, like duration, distances covered etc. Did you drive all the ways up from hyderabad to ISB first? Also a bit about your Prado, which model petrol engine 3.4 or 4.0 and what was the fuel consumption like on the trip. Could one do camping up there etc. Any more pics specially from the top where you reached?

Very Nice Trip (Y), Please polish your Offroading skills and then you can do some great accomplishments.

Green Number Plates in these days become problematic even some of the real Govt. or Foreign Missions Vehicles are order to remove there number plates and use private.

Its a great accomplishment to visit the place where your father had great memories. From the look of it, the track looks extremly tricky. Though real good effort and a patient drive from your side that made it all a possibility.

If one wants to go to the top of the mountains in a petrol V6, it is not advisable to do it on your own expense. Do it like this guy did on the tax payer's account
