Back in Dec. 2013 I took the car to the Pakwheels GTG held in the Lake View Park. This was the first showing of the vehicle at a public event. Since we don't have Concurs d'Elegance events here judged by knowledgeable judges, the next best thing are comments from knowledgeable vintage car owners. There were many things said by many visitor but I put much weightage to the comments of the owners/restorers of cars similar to mine. I had a few members from VCCCP come over and have a few words with me. One such comment was that the tool tray lid material was not correct and looked out of place as it was immediately recognized as billiards table cloth which indeed it was. I totally accept this as a valid comment needing attention. I have to admit that when I did my resto job, I did not research the market properly to see what options were available and blindly purchased and fitted billiard table cloth.
I have since found a whole row of shops in Raja Bazaar selling blazer material in a variety of colours. However, I still have not been able to find the EXACT green shade of cloth that was originally fitted. However I have removed the objectionable billiard table cloth and replaced it with a more suitable vintage looking green blazer material.
Pictures below of "before" and "after"

Before - Sharp parrot green billiards table cloth material (not correctly captured by the cell phone/flash)

After - more subdued green blazer material.
