In post # 44 dated 09-04-2014, I mentioned that I was having difficulties in fitting back the left side spring. Well, yesterday, I drained off the fuel from the tank and removed the offending fuel lines. Once the lines were out the job of fitting the spring went very quickly. I was able to loosely fit all the locating pins/bolts and got the nuts finger tight.
Final fitting will be later today after Friday prayers. That will include the gaiter as well (Insha Allah). So all-in-all good progress. After the gaiter job is over I have to work on the spare wheel tray. This tray was removed in order to make room for me to work on removing the rear pins of the leaf springs.
Since the spare tray is out, There is a dent in the tray that needs attention. I would assume that sometime in the past, while reversing the car, it went over an obstruction (maybe a low sidewalk?).
Here is a scan from the owner?s manual showing the spare wheel "locker" as they call it.

The tray is on what the wheel is lying on
Plan is to fix the dent in the tray, apply chassis paint and refit.
