Yes, sir...sab khair khairiyat.
Didn't really have much photographic evidence to report
Albatta, the verbal update is as follows:-
The '64 Impala. Has been put on hold for a while. We're going to devote time and energies to building other cars and finishing them off, rather than starting this one afresh.
The '65 Impala. Is getting a cosmetic do-over. The denting is well underway on the Impala to get rid of any excessive rust blisters and paint spoils. This time around, we're going to opt for a very bright silver paint job, with twin toned flames. At the same time, all chrome fittings on the Impala are going to get powder coated black, for a different look. 300 horsepower, blacked out accents, and flames...
The '67 Impala. With a heavy heart, I've decided to take out the 350 V8 small block and swap it, instead. The Impala is going to get a 1UZ-FE VVTi, which will be the same engine as in the '65, so it should offer similarly dazzling levels of performance. The 350 engine is going to be completely redone once again, and stored in a crate. At some point in time, if Master Shayaan wants to return it to stock...he'll have the engine and tranny waiting for him.
The '56 Bel Air. The car is on its way, and should be here in three four days, Insha Allah. You all will lay eyes on it the same day as I will, Insha Allah, by means of photos. The engine should be arriving in ten odd days, Allah khair karey. Work on this car is going to start straight away, and it promises to be one helluva challenging rebuild! Just the way I like it :). Plan of action for this is:-
a) Engine and transmission transplant.
b) Wheels and tyres.
c) Suspension.
d) Suspension.
e) Suspension.
f) Body work and paint.
g) Interior.
Whew!
