I was just on the line with Shahzad (the owner of the workshop where the Impala is being rebirthed). According to him, we have a fire-breathing '67 Impala that lives, now!

From what I've been told, the engine is ticking along perfectly, Alhamdolillah, and all systems seem to be working fine, right now. Of course, the car is going to stay running overnight, so we detect any faults or foibles that might be present in it, and tomorrow it will be getting its road test, Insha Allah.

This has been a long time in the making! I just hope the road test turns out to be successful.

Jokes aside, the 20 inch rims and these very tyres, were part of the plan from the outset. And the stance and drop and adjustments have all been done with that very purpose in mind. At this stage, I don't think it's even possible for me to put on 22 inch wheels, because it would completely ruin the current look and stance. And then...what would I do with the brand new set of 20 inch wheels and tyres that would come off the '67 Impala?

Zindagi rahi, tau we'll look into the possibility of fitting "bragging rights" wheels to the '64 Impala, which is the next to go onto the production line, Insha Allah.

Whilst I'm still giving some thought to other aspects for the Six Foe, it's pretty much a foregone conclusion that we'll be turning it into a two door hardtop coupe. "Slamming" it, is also very much on the cards.

You'll be pleased to know that some very interesting engine choices are also on the cards; which will be in line with your "more power" philosophy. However, more than anything else, I want this last rebuild of mine (yes...no more fooling around with toys) to be a "swan song". Something that is absolutely incredible to look at, and terrifying to drive. Let's see how and if, we manage to fuse both aspects together!
