A very very risky external fuel line set up. Can always get damaged with a car lift by a bilstein jack. Will have to make sure that the original "within the tunnel" fuel line is restored/replaced as soon as I get a chance.

Is that what it is?????? I thought it was the pan and body seal that had somehow ...even if you can't get the within the tunnel setup ready just get a one piece metal fuel line run along the tunnel front to back inside the car. It would be safer than this and totally reversible.

Fish some Polyurethane pipe in the tunnel, long lasting and wont corrode for sure, It'll take a little work but will be a permanent type of solution.

I doubt if there would be any polyurethane pipes of the stock size be available here in Multan but then again, I can look for one for sure.

Available at Haathi Chowk Massey gate Rawalpindi. When you are ready to go looking for it I'll give you detailed directions.I bought a length of it (a different diameter) to use as windscreen washer pipe running from the reservoir to the nozzle.

A White Lace is found on the B-Pillars and ensures that the wind is kept out of the head liner (which is moulded/wounded on the B-Pillars) while the car runs and doesn't make swishing sounds. Therefore due to its function, it is called the "Wind Lace".

Here are the pictures after each of the wind laces on both the pillars were cleaned:

You're so lucky you car had one. As mine was missing i had to arrange for one through Nasir. for the time being i've still got the silly vinyl replica thing in there but will fit the new WCM part when i bring the 1303 home next time (she's in storage with romanos bus)

Tranny Identification Query:

The tranny has an identification code "8219167" stamped on the case. Can someone please help me identify this tranny and its gearing ratios? It was coupled with a 1300cc "FO" Series 50BHP motor originally.

Would it be OK to couple it with a 1200cc 40BHP motor? Here are a few pics for your assistance:

While I was taking the shots of the defroster hose wells in order to share and ask for probable ways to clean these wells as they have all the dirt/dust/junk cluttered inside, look what I found on the Passenger Side Defrost Hose Well in the trunk:

A little bit of sanding and the spanner shows some character already which obviously matches the over all "Patina character" of the car:

As can be seen a little rust is still trapped inside the spanner but it can be taken care of.

When I bought Patina it came with an aftermarket spanner from a Suzuki Jap car. The only original thing from the toolkit that was handed over from the original toolkit was the Bilstein Jack and nothing else. I always wished if there was an original spanner/other bits from toolkit were present, it would have been a real treat and today at least partially, my wish came true which makes me excited.

that is an awesome find,.. and something which would have been overlooked or discarded if a denter got his hands on it. it's great finding such treasures in the car.

In Karachi PU can be bought in rolls from the rubber parts market in Saeed Manzil - I used to use PU pipes of various diameters for fuel and vacuum lines, they are very neat when installed. and do not go soft or corrode or break.
