Bro - sorry for the late response. I havnt checked the average yet as its not out of workshop. heard that it give 8/9 in city and 10/12 on highways.

You'll have alot of choices as far as engine is concerned. depending upon your usage and choice. first you will have to decide that either you prefer diesel or petrol. I like diesel engines for better torque and power, however usually they are slow as compared to petrol.

However if gear change is required then SSR gear is top choice, no matter you put in deisel or petrol.

If i would have given a choice in petrol, i would first keep the stock 2F or change it to 1UZFE.

For diesel, 13B / T as top priority and 5L as second.

Paint is completed at last. Body parts are being installed back now slowly :)

Almost completed the power steering conversion. taken the power pump and fluid bottle from 94 prado while steering box from post 80 model FJs so that it could sit on original foundation.

Next:

Suspension work with replacement of all shocks and steering damper.
Bucket seats installation at front and rear.
electrical wiring.
Finally all upholstery jobs.

Cant wait to take it on road

Have selected Sporty Yellow Color for the rig due to following reasons:

Looks more eye catching
Have almost all other basic colors in home vehicles.
Never kept any yellow vehicle before.
The motor registration authority has written yellow color on it as they write any random color on vehicle record because army green is not allowed any more at the time of registration of auction vehicles

See how it will look like And yes , engine is back again today after re over haul.

Anytime sir - will show you as i have tested its today and i am impressed by the craftsmanship of this lathman who has done this conversion so perfectly.

Its working perfect now very smooth and soft.

Eventually succeeded in 2011 registration - Damn , had to pay 80k with 10k speed money for this **** coz its 2007 auction and had to pay token taxes and fine for last 5 years.

This is really terrible as my whole budget of resto is upset now:

Got suspension works completed today - springs serviced with replacement of 4 cracked leafs.

Got new Shackles fabricated with new studs and with 1 inch lift

I love the lath man work, who has used old shock rods to make shackle pins as hard steel rod was required to bear load of vehicle and jerk of suspension - Watch out:

Done first road test after completion of seats upholstery electrical wiring & throttle wire replacement, pump tuning and licence plates installation of registration.

Saw the glowing beauty zipped passed by me yesterday afternoon. The way it accelerated after a speed-breaker made me wonder if it already has a 1UZ in there.

@machine.... Brother, I think we should take a short off-road test drive of both these vehicles within next few days. Nearest and safest (considering any breakdown) would be the patch between and around Wapda Town & Multan Public School.
