thank you. the spot weld bits are for luce project (and more). i am not really happy with two of the doorskins on the passenger side and i am looking to replace them with NOS doorskins from my stash which would require neat spot weld cutting to correctly do the job and then there is the repaired front floor sections. the front floor has received some repairs in the past and i am not all too happy the way it was done as it was done in the ordinary 'pakistani' way.
here are some pics showing how it should have been done correctly - cutting out the rot, treating the outriggers/supports and patching in the new metal
even though the above pics of repair show one minor flaw in the job and that is the inappropriate thickness & distance of spot re-welds of the new metal, otherwise the procedure is spot on
the previous floor job on mine looks something like this (not wheel well) though not exactly the same but very close to this - i will get the actual pictures some time soon
