We're actually considering two sets of wheels and tyres here. The first set is of 18 inch Bullitt wheels (in chrome) onto which we'll mount the existing tyres. These would be for general driving. The second set of wheels would be Bullitts in 16 inches. With these wheels we will use the car's race tyres. Depending on availability, these are going to be tread wheels up ahead, and high profile racing slicks in the rear. Something that will really transfer all the power and torque to the tarmac
I'll be honest fouad bhai, one of the reasons for putting up the pics of the 70 is that rear end. The round lights are a signature of that era..ferraris, vettes etc. looked super cool with those things and i think you should consider them.
I'm planning something quite extraordinary for the rear, Yaser. The lights are going to be round, but they're not going to be stock.
Gonna use strong words here but i absolutely hate the 74 "regulation" protruding bumpers. Most american cars became ugly all of a sudden in 74 with those pointy bumpers and rubber blocks sticking out of them. The bumpers should be flush with the body work and that "trough" in the rear bumper where the license plate sits looks super as well.
I don't like the glittery aluminium bumper either. It sticks out too much, and that black strip of rubber along it, is a bit of an eyesore. We're going to remedy that, though. The bumpers will sit MUCH closer to the body, and we'll raise them a bit, so that they're nice and flush with the front. Fabricating fiberglass bumpers front and rear, is also very much on the cards. The front bumper would appear stock. The rear bumper would be something similar to what you've shown in the pictures.
...also the ducktail spoiler is there but should be closer to the lip of the boot...that gap looks a little odd. We need a front lip spoiler/diffuser as well
You're reading my mind, Yaser. We're going to work on the spoiler, too. Custom fabricate something that is beautiful, and goes with the curves of the rear, perfectly. We MIGHT have a lip spoiler, as well. We'll know for certain once we finish the adjustments of the front and rear bumpers.

... I'm volunteering probono design consultancy services for this project
We're way ahead of you on that score, Yaser
We spent a couple of hours poring over the interior. Dials, clusters, instruments, steering wheel, air-conditioning vents, music system, seats, push-to-start, power windows, remote operated doors trunk and bonnet, hood scoop design, doing away with the fender scoops, door boards, dashboard fabrication, roof restoration, gear shifter, hand brake, pedal design, trunk beautification, and under-the-hood aesthetics (among other things) came up for discussion!
