Eventually, need to mention here the incident happened with us.
It was dark when we entered Sind. The plan was to stay on N 55 and reach Larkana but every1 advised us not to use Kandhkot route at night and we turned towards N-5 for Sukkur to avoid "Dakoos" but didn't knew that "uniformed robbers" are waiting for us.
As we crossed Guddu Barrage we were stopped by police for snap checking of documents and we stopped as usual,as we were 4-5 times earlier. We were not bothered as complete documents were there but this time we were asked to park the ride and show the docs.to Saab siting inside the room.
When we went inside, saab greeted us and introduced himself as inspector ******* and asked for the documents which i put in front of him. Complete docs were there but he asked that the authority letter should be on stamp paper and there should also be the leasing schedule that how much you have paid and whats left. 1st I thought he was joking but then I started arguing with him. Asim bhai asked me to call someone and I was about to call the Col. who is looking after our vehicles and operations. But when I saw the bottle and his glass full of wine besides him, I withdrew all the arguments and surrendered and asked him what he wants.
He was expecting 4000 but after reference and talk it ended up in 2000. My pals were annoyed, why I am paying but ;
"You can't imagine the consequences of arguing with a drunk police officer in a tribal area, in the middle of the night"

This incident ****** the whole mood but unfortunately it is part of our life any we can't help it. :-#
