a) honda city 2011-2012 will require how much petrol?
b) suzuki wagnor will require how much petrol?

c) do you suggest we take extra fuel with us to avoid irani petrol?

d) kund malir beach and ormara beach are identified how?

e) for night stay at ormara city is there is any reasonable place? Where to stay and other details.

f) we are also 8 friends going in two cars do you find food out there for lunch and dinner? In ormara where we can have dinner and lunch?

Brother, as per safety measures, not advised to carry extra fuel, or at least keep that for minimal distance having air tight container.
Its almost 245 Kms from zero point to Ormara. So both ways approx 500 kms. I believe city has 40 litre tank, and if it averages 13 or more, which it should easily as per my knowledge, 1 tank can get you back to winder, starting from winder ( almost 30 kms from zero point). Ideally get your tank full from karachi and then at winder. Probably the case would be same for wagonr if not better. I wasn't sure of the petrol avg of sunny and if i would touch hingol or not, so i bought 5 litre @100 ruppes/litre from kund malir while coming back. Didnt use it though as i easily made it to the maripur road before running out of fuel. You can do the same to avoid getting irani into the tank unless inevitable.
Identifying zero point, kund malir or ormara isnt a big deal. You will get help from sign boards and the track of distance traveled. I will post a picture of zero point/RCD intersection, where you will need to take left.

Night stay at ormara could be an issue as i believe there are no hotels that can offer stay. Otherwise you will find everything in the city. Lunch and dinner easily available. Couple of famous dhabba hotels are karachi hotel and sindh hotel. We bought everything including fresh chicken from the city for barbq. Weather would be pleasant and even better at night.

Brother, You mentioned in your postings above that you people stayed at Ormara. While, in the start of your post you mentioned its hard to find the rest house at Ormara. So where did you did your night stay at Ormara? What about Jinnah Naval Base? There ain't resting facilities there? Are civilians not allowed?

To my knowledge, no rest houses in the city that can offer a night stay to visitors. I may be wrong but thats what i was able to gather while i was there, specially in context of family accommodation. We got a chance to stay only because of a reference in the locals, and that too at someone's private place that was vacant that day. We otherwise had a plan to get back to Uthal all the way. No idea about Jinnah Naval Base, but just like any other major base, i expect that to be a restricted area. If you can find any reference in officer ranks there, it probably will be the best possible accommodation at Ormara.

Bro, Security situation is better these days. I really hope locals focus on the resthouses business as so many people are interested to stay. But in my trip, i wasnt able to find one.

Yes city petrol avg was good!! Our trip was good but honestly the beach I was anticipating at ORMARA was not upto my expectation and even I didn't like the taste of local food although I'm very found of dhaba foods etc but at Ormara its so bland.

We left KHI after Fajar prayer refueled at winder and from there reached ZERO POINT @ the speed of 160 km/h.
At zero point collected ICE for ice box.
Reached Kund Malir and other places for photo session and finally reached by Zahur prayer at Ormara.

I strongly recommend that ppl going ormara should go only upto Princess of Hope and turn back for Kund Malir as beach at Kund Malir is much better than Ormara as you cannot predict where it will go deep and unless you are a good swimmer.

Only one thing fascinated me during whole trip the natural landscape of mountains.....

If anyone planning for a night stay at ormara then don't ahead towards Ormara Village go towards Gawadar. As soon as you will leave Ormara check post you will find a bus stop / dhaba / mumtaz hotel.

This gentlemen rent out his room for night stay!! That is the only commercial place in Ormara or else go to Gawadar.

If you will ask me I'll rate this trip as 6.5/10 so better you go upto Kund Malir only and visit Princess of hope.

if anyone also planning to go for Hingol National Park I would recommend don't waste time as its almost dried Hingol river is dry due to lack of rains and you will not find single wild animal!!

Nani Mandir which is inside national park was also not as per my expectation but if you are found of visiting new places please proceed ahead. BUT do not take the link road inside Hingol National Park to Ormara as it is in very bad condition.

Road conditions are 100% good!!

Security situation is also normal we didn't came across any problem, whereas locals are very helpful and welcoming.

Jinnah Navy Base do not allow any civilians unless you know anyone in NAVY (upon reaching there I called one of my friend who was luckily there as PN war exercises were going on). But its better you stay outside as you will be very much restricted.

Above all beach of ormara was just like hawksbay and adjacent one. If you are board surfer then yes ormara could be a "OK" place but not GOOD!!

Nice add up. Good to know about mumtaz hotel. If i am not wrong, it was about 10 kms from the checkpost. We went there for a cup of tea but didnt realize he might have a place for stay. Did you get any idea on rates and the number of rooms he had? Where did you stay by the way ?
Well contrary to your experience, mine was a somewhat better or a little different:) The food was fine as i expect it from any dhabba at a remote area. I had it at a hotel inside city named Sindh hotel. The beach was clean and water less salty than it is at hawksbay. Plus quite predictable on depth I didnt find any slopes or sudden drops rather it was excellent uniform descent and quite a wide sandy area. May be you were at a point different than us. But that said, i do agree that these beaches are not extra ordinary ones. Landscape is phenomenal. and hingol probably would be better in rainy seasons , plus you need a 4x4 to go deep into the park for real adventure.
