There was a small pond near Shishkin camp site and some plants as well.

Due to some reason, these plants were attracting a lot of butterflies and flying insects and it gave me long awaited opportunity to capture butterflies for the first time

I took lots of shots but posting the shortlisted ones only

Single shot processed separately for bright and dark parts. So, the dynamic range increases but it doesn't make hallows and edges like in HDR. I do it within ACR while doing RAW processing.

After the wonderful butterfly session and my porters finished their luggage rearrangement, we resumed the trek.

Right now we are at Shishkin and now we will climb up a little. First a small settlement comes and then the trek ascends through a gorge like path to reach the edge of Barpu glacier

I don't have any pic while going up the gorge so here is a shot while coming back. At both occasions, weather was seriously hot and it was tough to ascend or descend.
