First thing i did after reaching campsite was to go into the camp and take some rest after a very hard trekking day

Couple of hours later, it was lunch time

Its been around 3 hrs till lunch was done so i was feeling quite fresh and breathing was also getting normal now. I was planning to go out and take some afternoon shots leading into the sunset and evening.

But just after lunch rain started and it continued till the evening and we had nothing to do but to stay in the camp.

First shot i took was few minutes after sunset but by that time light was gone already

It must have been a wonderful scene at sunset time but rain didn't allow us to witness the beautiful moments

After evening shift, i went back into the camp and dinner was served around 8 p.m. It was still cloudy and i was waiting for the sky to get clear otherwise night would also be wasted like sunset.

Around 12 a.m., my porters woke me up that sky is clear now and stars are out

I got up immediately and got ready for night shoot. It was extremely cold outside due to high altitude and i double packed myself head to toe to avoid getting sick in such cold.

Number of big peaks were visible now from left to right: Malubating, Phuparash, Miar, Bualtar and a gilmpse of Diran on far right

Now we started a semi circle around the lake
