Welcome to Day 1 of this part of Grand Trip 2013 
My group of 11 buddies accompanied me till Jaglot from where they hired a hiace and started the return journey. I said them goodbye in Jaglot on our way back from Skardu and then took my lunch there.
Afterwards, me and my jeep driver resumed the journey around 3 p.m. and headed towards Karimabad in Hunza Valley. The road from Raikot Bridge, Fairy Meadows till Karimabad, Hunza is in perfect shape and newly built. There are some patches where work is still in progress otherwise it is a drive in heavens You see Chinese engineers all along this route and a police wala with every Chinese.
We crossed a makeshift bridge in Gilgit as main bridge was under construction. We stopped at first view of Rakaposhi and then took a tea break at Rakaposhi View Point in Ghulmet.
Afterwards, it was a continuous journey till Duikar in Karimabad. I jumped out of jeep and ran towards short climb till Duikar top as sunset was almost finished and we were a little late to reach here
But after some time i noticed full moon rising from east and the enjoyment got doubled 
I spent 2 hours at Duikar with some outstanding sessions of photography
Afterwards, i came down to Eagle's Nest Hotel and took a room in higher building for Rs.3,000. The place was awesome to stay with outstanding views of Rakaposhi and rooms were excellent as well.
I took a shower and then completed the charging of all camera batteries as i would be on trek for next 4-5 days. Also, had to delete unnecessary shots from cards to keep space for next 5 days.
Afterwards, i went to sleep in over comfortable bed which caused me to miss sunrise in the morning
