INSTALLING CRUISE CONTROL in 8th GEN HONDA CIVIC (Manual Transmission)
Basic Requirements.

Must have Honda Civic (MT, 2006 ~ 2012):)
ivtec owners will require clock spring, oriel owners need not.
Clock spring is fitted below steering wheel. It has two connectors, clock spring In and Out. It is available from Honda at price of more than Rs 10000 whereas Zulqarnain bhai @zunny assisted in providing it for Rs 4500. I hope one is left with him. In local market (sultan ka khoo) it is known as KARA but i'll suggest to buy a new one since there will be no ambiguity in its operation.
Steering wheels Audio and Cruise Control buttons.
Now there are two options. Either u can get only Audio and Cruise Control buttons ranging from 13K~15K and fix in ur existing steering wheel OR u can have steering wheel already fitted with these buttons (genuine one) ranging from 15K~30K depending on condition. Once again than to Zulqarnain bhai who assisted in getting me a very nice steering wheel with buttons.
Tacho meter with Cruise Main and Cruise Control icons in operation.
Tachos of PKDM civics do have Cruise Main n Cruise Control icons but they are not operational since there is no circuit for them. Tachometer can be bought from Sultan ka Khoo for around Rs 8500 and from Peshawar for around Rs 6500. Ask vendor to give u tacho which is taken out of imported/japan assembled civic, get it checked from an electrician before u pay money for it.
Brake pedal switch with four pins. Presently Pakistani civic's brake pedal switch is with two pins only. It is very difficult to get brake pedal switch with four pins of Honda Civic but good news is that Toyota Vitz model 2006 brake pedal switch is with four pins and fits perfectly in the place. U can get it from Chah Sultan for about Rs 1500. Don't forget to get its grip too.
Two pins switch for clutch pedal. It can be bought for about Rs 400. Only problem is that the nut and bolt in that place is of size 17 and its not possible to get switch with thread of size 17 but a switch with threads of lesser size can be fit by help of washers etc.
If u r confident enough like Zulqarnain bhai then u'll need star key set, scree drivers, roll of wire about 12 meters, insulation tapes, nose pliar, wire cutter, nipples for grips note book, dedication and patience otherwise a GOOD ELECTRICIAN.

Darya ko koozay mein bandh kar diya aap nay! Good! Bro yes clockspring is aval if anyone wants it! Its a good deal to buy in 4500 as u would get a used for 6-8k from the scrappies. Why not to buy a new 1 in much lesser price! Imran bhai would love to see the pics of the clutch switch and the way u wired it! Thank u for the detail of items n their prices!

By Good Electrician I mean one who understands well the circuit diagrams and has knowledge of dealing with ECU. Though connecting wires at two points in ECU's grip is not a big dealing but opening protective cover and grips of ECU require some skillful hands. Also wires from ECU to clutch and brake pedal are to be routed in a professional manner.

PREPARATIONS

First remove fittings of dash board. All components are held in place by clips so removal is done by gently pulling out the parts. Only one screw is un screwed which is below Sel/Reset button. Take out steering wheel, it will give much room to work easily. Use star key (No.30) to unsecrew two screws which are on the side of steering wheel and gently pull out centre part of the steering wheel (triangular type part which is pressed to blow horn). Be carefull it has grip which connects it to the clock spring, dont forget to remove the grip. You will then see a nut. Use 14 no goti to unscrew the nut. Gently tap on sides of steering wheel to slacken it and then pull out. You will then see clock spring (desi wala).

ivtec's clock spring has only two pins in Clock Spring In slot. We need to change the clock spring because the In slot should have ten (10) pins to let steering wheel Audio and Curise Control buttons work.
Clock Spring Out slot has ten pins but you will see only one wire in the grip which is inserted in the Clock Spring Out slot. This single wire is Horn out.
