2008 Brooklands Coupé
[highlight]The Bentley Brooklands Coupé will be hand-assembled, employing traditional coach-building techniques and craftsmanship skills in wood veneer and leather hide. Lifetime production is planned for 550 cars, with deliveries expected to start in the first half of 2008.
The Brooklands is powered by a twin-turbocharged 6 ¾-litre V8 engine producing 530 bhp (395 kW) and 1050 Nm (774 ft·lbf). It can achieve 0-60 mph in around 5 seconds, and a top speed in the region of 296 km/h (184 mph). With an optional ceramic braking system and 14 inch rotors the new Brooklands offers more stopping power than any passenger vehicle currently available for purchase.
This new coupé lacks a "B" pillar.
