I dont understand why every thread about BMW should be automatically and duel between BMW and Merc, we wont learn anything positive about the tech that is introduced in these premium sedans.
I love the new 7, and i absolutely adore the new V12 twin turbo 760iL. But even a BMW nut like me agrees, this is one segment that is dominated by the S Klass, and there any many reasons to that. One last point i would like to make is, the new Turbo engines in 7, both the Twin turbo V8 and V12 are silky smooth and have a much broader power band, hence provide a smoother power delivery than the S600 and S65 AMG, which is more like a rubber band, sling shot effect. Again this is what i have read in auto journals and not experienced myself.
