just say competent enough to understand modern a cars electronics (the guy is always working on range rovers and jags can’t seem to fix a corolla)

i can assure you the owners' of such vehicle are dumb enough idiots sending their vehicles with driver to this person. Drivers get palms greased for every repeat visit i can assure you he does not have a clue about number of ground points in a Range Rover with correct wire gauge at any given location. ground earth hota hai taar laga hona chahyea baas. aysay auto electrican ki &^*%$ *kc

over a short trip to islamabad after eid in april, my neighbor in islamabad was whining k yar range rover eid k bad sai dead ho gai hai key sai open nai ho rahi aur start nahi ho rahi hai workshop bhi kehta hai tow kar layn then we will check. i was shocked, it was 2018 limited edition with only 79000 km over odo. i walked into his porch asked to lift the hood, imagine he said kidher sai khulta hai tou khud khool lay mujahy nahi maloom. popped the hood left the key on driver seat.

i opened the BIG DB box in engine bay at side firewall the main red breaker was RED, i only flipped it to green and cluster came to life, in 3rd crank engine came to life. So sorry for practically abandoning you guys I got busy in my exams, I am still busy now but the problems with my cars persists (like it would magically disappear)

Couple of things I’m noticing is that at full volume when I flash my lights with parkings lights and fogs on the woofer just cuts out not pop no nothing at volume around 32-38 it pops when I flash high beams and one more thing I recently went to get my headlights serviced and found that on one of myhigh beams bulbs had a (pimple)

Could all of these be related? Also I asked another electrician about these issues he said you pay me 500-1000 and I would clean the earths and see what happens….

That's an easy way to make money for him lol. So here's what I'd do. Like everyone has pointed out, this is most probably a grounding issue. Open your hood and track your grounding wires. Make sure none of them are loose. There are usually multiple grounding wires inside the bay so you need to check them all. You also have common grounding points on the a,b,c pillars. Just to be sure

100w bulbs are a big no no. That's probably why you have that bubble. Lucky you didn't fry your electricals. Switch back to the factory bulbs

Regarding your electricals, your installer ran the same generic crappy 8 gauge pwr/gnd wire they all use. The way he's grounded that cable is probably by twisting it around the seat frame bolt with all the strands poking out. Wouldn't be a shock if he hasnt scrapped the paint off for a good ground. Push your seat all the way forward, take a pic of the amp he's installed under the seat. Also, a picture of the pwr wire he's run to the battery. I'm sure it's not fused either.

Btw, doing a voltage drop test is easy. You can YouTube some how to videos and check your grounds

All these ad ons can only mean a shit load of taped up wires and jugaars. Oh the massacre.

To pinpoint where the issue is coming from, I'd suggest you disconnect your amp. Remove the power wire from the battery, see if you are still facing issues with the electricals. If things improve, you have your culprit. Get your setup installed from someone who actually knows what crimps, soldering, heatshrink and connectors are when installing audio gear

Just for reference, this is the difference between the generic 8 awg cable (left) all these shops use and a good quality 8 gauge cable. You're still going to experience voltage drop when your subs hit low notes meaning your lights dimming etc. Get yourself some good 8 or 6 gauge cable ( depending on what amp you have, 4 gauge might be overkill ) afterwards so you don't have a bottleneck

Jazakallah for the reply bhai but I have posted all the pictures up there about the amp and the where its been placed and the bulbs here are oem corolla mein atay hi 100w bulbs hain low beams kay meinne change karein hain for looks and low load, I’m from Karachi also my idiotic had installled a amp cutt of switch too and yess there is a fuse in that wire that runs from the battery to the amp, amp is a original 1600 watt presence amplifier also I’m scared of taking the car apart to be honest…..

And the woofer makes the pop noise similar to when it makes when the amp starts and no the lights don’t dim when the bass hits only the rpms drop a tiny bit and there is this issue with the dash lights that flick when I flash my high beams and when there is a immediate power draw never when the bass drops, lastly ek banday se baat hui thi woh kehta yeh woofer ki awaz ajati hai normal hai rc converter laga donga screen kay peechey
