Just as i got close to the cars, they dimmed the lights for a video presentation. They weren't letting anyone in the enclosure too because of this. I tried getting back there later in the day but one could casually stroll through a herd of rampaging elephants than the teenagers rampaging at the TATA Motors, Maruti-Suzuki and GM displays.

A few more pics before i wrap up posting in this thread to complete the coverage. The ARIA and the A8 concept are some of my favs. I was looking forward to Hyundai having the Equus on show, but all we got was some android concept. The new Sonata should have been there as it will be made locally sometime later this yearas is the current Sonata. I guess Hyundai didn't want to kill further sales of the current Sonata as it isn't a big seller here anyways. Each market has it's own dyanmics!.
hey nick ...i checked the EQUUS on the co. website the car is loaded to gills...only if HYUNDAI can bring it to INDIA untill then it remains a dream...
I agree. Do you or anyone else shed some light on the two cylinders attached to the Bullet in the pic?. I took the pic but don't rmember anything about it. I only remember that it was a stand displaying an alternative fuel.

Yamaha's budget bikes and some other images from the show. I missed the antique car pavillion too!. The Expo Center is like a small township and getting around all exhibits requires atleast two days!.
I haven't had time to go through all the pics from the Auto Show yet and clear my folders but here's a couple from the Volvo commercial display. The Volvo city bus and commercial truck are one of the most popular vehicles in their respective categories in the Indian commercial vehicle market.
