2011 Corolla 1.6L Altis AT / GLI AT

Please continue i wana hear more,

civic has a imobilizer, Corolla has a Eco meter now. What else the engine size ? The I-vtec? Dual VVti, is gud to me if it gives me around 12 a liter (auto) against 8-9 in a Civic auto.

PS: Im no where starting a Honda toyota fight.

I personaly like Hondas more, mostly because of Civics independent suspension. It gives me way too much driving confidence specialy on sharp turns. Which Corolla simply doesnt.

But Corolla dash board quality is better then Civic. Corolla has lesser quality issue than Honda (Civic+City).

+1.now gli auto is comparable to civic.even take a base altis and compare with civic vti and see the features standard on altis .alloys cruise control airbag keyless eco zone leather seats 6speedmt retractable mirrors and many other just dont wanna start that.even old vvti 1.8 gives around 2km/l better average compared to prosmatic as confirmed by mani and rizwan bhai

Here's a quick look at the major differences between the 1.6L GLI Automatic and 1.6L Altis Automatic...

price of altis is reasonable wid gr8 features...but price of gli 1.6 is high...almost 17 lac but still no alloy rims, no airbag , no fog lamps, no side skirts , no key less entry ,

i think GLI should have been 1.6L from the start

only concern now is the price difference
even though each and every car in Pakistan is overpriced but GLI now is head and shoulders above the rest in this regard

How its price is more?its about 60k cheaper than civic mt and also its automatic .take that .pakistani manufactures charges around 1lakh for auto transmission.

Its not high, Considering Toyota is charging 90k for the gear box, less 90,000 from 16,79,000 you come to 15,89,000 which is 60k more then the Gli 1.3 manuals price. they are charging 60k for a upgraded engine so its reasonable i gues.

Altho u can still compare the Altis AT but with Altis AT you get more features.

considering Price already went up buy 1 lakh Rs just from the face lift about a month back id say its very overpriced

well we can now consider Corolla a proper C Segment Car in Pakistan

only thing left to do now is discontinue XLI and bring in 1.3L Belta with Features in that price range

@chinyoti...well for the dashboard quality...yes city quality sux nd rolla takes over city any day but still civic's dashboard is way better then of rolla nd that most of the pakwheelers accept..although rolla's steering is way softer nd have a better suspension but civic has a better overall build quality nd it also gives a look that rolla can never give...:P....nd its more of like a family car while rolla is like a village car....last but not the least...

there is a difference of class b/w gli nd VTi..!..just for eg gli is given to a VP in bank while VTI is given to SVP in bank...!...since gli was initially brought in competition to CITY..it shuld remain as its competitor...!
