Guys hold your breath. Honda is not going to launch this shape as their Civic 2012. They are still in the test design and test marketing stage. Although they are doing this bit late but still they have ample time to launch it according to the Civic fans desires and needs. They have intentionally exposed it to take users opinion, otherwise they are not dumb enough to reveal their cash cow brand shape 18 months before the launch even when they have to face tough competition from Toyota, Mitsubishi and Mazda. Civic has always remained Honda's identity and cash cow through out the world. So, they cannot do such with their Civic brand.
In my opinion, they would continue equipping it with the 1.8 litres engine and would also provide it in 1.5 liter as a hybrid variant. They are doing such to break the market share of Toyota Prius, which still doesnt have a strong rival.
Even if my above mentioned philosophy fails. Atlas Honda is not going to launch this shape in Pakistan because they are still suffering net loss since last four years, if they lauch it here they would surely go bankrupt. So relax guys and wait for the time. By the way, 2010 is now going to over. When is Atlas Honda launching the cosmetic change model?
