talking about 0-100, yaar how much slow do you feel it to be? and btw, u are checking 0-100 timings on ur brand new car? :o its never like that dear bhai. 
your new car needs some time to break in, when it does, u'll have perfected yourself in gear shifts and the timing will improve by itself.
as for auto, I don't like it at all, my personal preference is always manual, cz auto car is never in ur full control.
btw, do practice rev matched shifting on ur car, I so much love to do it on the vtec city. :*
