immad bhai gli A/T is slow in accel but this 1.6L has fairly quick accel and all you have to do is push the gas pedal a bit

buddy try someday a 1.6 6speed altis which has same 1.6 engine and you'l get to know where your gli stands.
take a 3 car handicap from me at dig against my altis 1.6 result=gli eats the dust,same in the case of auto altis.
1zrfe with this auto transmission is slow,spare sometime and get a try of manual 6speed.you'l rate this gli ''zero'' as i do.

bro 17's or 18's doesnt spoil the car in any way and as far as the performance is concerned if these car could bear speed more than their design specifications then the comany would have done it in an other model or so. also we should rely on the engine that company's installed as we are not automobile engineers to design and modify the engine in any way

Well....they do.and at this poor auto 1.6 you'l end up in quite sluggish throttle response.

this is pakistan,have you noticed gasoline prices are rising everyday?companies here do not focus at performance alot,they do focus more at economy and these cars can easily handle more.

thats a great muffler but bro i needed some cl9 like mufler arrangement with more looks however excepting the noise

bro these are exhausts you ve to do downliping to arrange them on both corners :). any exhausts installer guy can put this like cl9 exhausts without pipes you cant put them on car
these are the real exhausts which will give you awesome sound.. other wis market is full of chinese exhausts

installing such exhaust units without actually sorting out the whole picture is useless, you will end up with a very dopey situation, specially if you are trying to fit 18 inch wheels (dead acceleration - massive unsprung weight)... and also a terrible rid quality, your springs and shocks and arm geometry are not made to handle such wheels. The wheel alignment will also become very awkward with no correct solution.

big wheels - flat open exhaust on an econosedan with an econo engine will make your car literally a pain to drive. A very tested way is to look up the wheel sizes that TOYOTA recommends for this chassis. For exhaust you need to sort out that your engine will remain in tune with such boxes.

A car with unecessary modifications to make it faster. The most common modifications are (but not limited to):

• Huge exhaust that serves no purpose but to make the car louder
• Large spoiler on the back that looks like something Boeing made for the 747
• Lots of after-market company stickers they don't have parts from, but must be cool
• Expensive rims that usually are very heavy and end up in suspension problem
• Bodykit to make the car appear lower, Ending up to make the car even uglier.
• Clear tail lights and raplace the orignals with horrible replicas.
• Most of these riced cars (a.k.a. rice rockets or rice burners) are; Honda Civics, Mitsubishi Lancers, Toyota Corollas , khybers however there are some domestics such as cuore, mehran, alto; small, slow, economy cars designed specifically to go slow.

Case:
Billy and Bobby both have 6000 to spend on their car. Billy invests it in suspension and engine work, and Bobby buys a "sick" body kit, and some "tight" rims. So, Billy has a fast car that will surprise anyone wanting to race it, and bobby is hitching a ride back home, because his "sick" body kit blocked all air to the engine.

1) i havent installed ahuge exhaust
2)i dont have a large spoiler
3) dont have alot of after market stickers on it
4)my head light/tail light are not replaced by those ugly replicas

Would like to add something here, this is from another forum...

On MCM we prefer not to use the term Rice as it can be taken many ways, sometimes it can be used as an insult to people's taste in vehicles, others it can be used as a racial slur as well as what most people see it as a "joke". Since rice is an asian staple it can be used to describe asian people... Its not something we really want to promote here as we all have different tastes in cars and everyone is entitled to this. There is other words that can be used in place of the word rice, just use a little more imagination.

I have had the term Rice used in an offensive way towards my own cars. Since I had a lowered Japanese car with a rather noisy exhaust and it was low, I had a few people call it a ricer car. I was offended by this as it wasn't a joke but a personal stab at my car. I didn't go home and cry about it but I felt quite offended that these guys couldn't keep their mouths shut because the car didn't appeal to their own personal tastes. Its not a nice thing when someone makes fun of something you have saved and worked hard on to make it what you want (I saved for ages to have the car as it was so I was quite annoyed).

With the stickers, its again a personal choice. Some people absolutely love it and have every pannel done, others have it in small chunks on their cars, its all the owners choice since at the end of the day its their car and they have to put up with it. We've had a lot of threads like this were someone asks a question and it ends up a turning the wrong way with members fighting over the use of a word or fighting over someone's opinion.. We will never all agree, thats what makes us interesting, I know I would be quite bored if we ALL had the same idea about what should and should not be done to a car, we'd also have a pretty boring car scene with nothing unique since we'd all have the same looking car.

Please look up the proper meaning of rice in the dictionary...dont just make up slang...everyone has a right to do watever they like to their OWN car...u can look but unless u have a usefull suggestion...don't criticize it....the way u mod ur car may be funny for others too.....

The Body kit don't look Fugly or Riced! But you need to Add Some Nice Alloys, Plus Aftermarket Tail Lights are not Freeky looking!Smoked Headlights look awesome!Just give it some descent looks, rest is your choice.

when car saaz commented that the car is riced , believe me i was very very disappointed because i lost my wallet there during my body kit was being installed and when i came back home i was very happy coz i was hoping a lot of positive response from you guys but...what can i say.
