Immobilizer se at least muft ki pareshani khatam ho jaati hai, my Prius has it I calmly park it and do what I want Alhamdulillah yeh fikar nahi ke koi khol ke le jaye ga Khuda Na Khwasta.

Yes you are right, but what i am trying to say that what IMC trying to do? Even suzuki Baleno has Factory fitted Immobilizer and IMC is charging 2.5 lakh for Immobilizer, wah.

Monopolistic behavior. Even Honda City doesn't have Immobilizer. Until and unless the Government doesn't get involved for provision of Immobilizer we should not expect IMC to do anything on its own.

Oh by the way today I stopped by at Rahat bakers I-8 markaz to get some items, a guy along with his wife and a baby also came inside, they got out from a 2010-11 HONDA CITY, I'm writing this in block letters for a reason. So the person came to me and asked about how much has the car cost me till now and inquired about the complete cost breakdown and in the end thanked me and wished me good luck with the car.
When I got back in my car I said to my family that see this car is still a head turner

Sir these are just rumors of the car being unstable.
Fuel consumption is 11 km/l local, didn't take it on any long journey yet.
Total cost breakdown:
Invoice Price: 1,847,000
WHT: 40,000
Insurance: 74,000
Registration: 53,000 (includes 8000 additional charges for two digit number)
Rest of the expenses of seat covers, tires etc are yet to be incurred.

Congratulations and thanks for posting a detailed review and progress. Well I am also planning to buy a new Corolla and currently I am swaying between 1.3 MT, 1.3 AT and 1.6 Altis.

The only thing which is taking me towards Altis is the high fuel consumption of Gli AT. If I add 145K RS in GLi AT price (filer), I will get a bigger engine, Dual VVTI, Multimedia with Rear Cam, Alloy Rims, Eco Lamp, Better power to weight ratio (?), Better fuel consumption (?)

As for fuel consumption, we can't truly say anything unless the car clocks above 5,000 km, and the 11 km/l figure I quoted is when the car is only driven around 670 km. In summers AC has to be turned on to get rid of the heat and in winters it has to be turned on at night for defogger purposes, plus I drive with a heavy foot and car idles a lot.
Yes 1.6 Altis has added advantages but we all know what fate of Altis has been in past few models, it always loses money whereas GLi appreciates, and as for me we certainly didn't buy it for resale purposes otherwise would've sold it the day it got delivered and had earned a good 1.5 lakh premium.
Eco lamp is there in GLi AT as well, fuel consumption will improve over time and rest goodies can be installed aftermarket.
Rest the choice is yours, if you can afford a loss of at least 2 lakhs in a year go for Altis otherwise GLi AT is a better option to be honest.
