Got new tires today, Michelin Energy XM2. Adjusted the almost 3,000 driven EuroStars for 12k and paid 24k on top. Ride comfort and handling has changed to a very great extent, way better than before.

I've seen euro stars getting hard after 15-20k kms. I'm sure these imported ones (yokohama, michelin, continental etc) would provide a smooth drive at least till 35-40k.

can u post a picture of the tires if possible? as i will be collecting my car anytime soon! just waiting for their call and my plan is to change the tires! hope u dont mind!

Hota kuch nahi but garri ko chalanay ka maza hi nahi ata. Change your tyres to yokohama or Michelin you feel hell of a difference in comfort and handling.

Been there, done that twice. 19-20 ka faraq hota ha and that too for sometime.

Pata nahi bro mujhay tu 50-100 ka faraq lagta hai. I can't even drive for 5 minutes on those crappy eurostars.

Sir main nay to apnay czn ki 10 gen Gli main ye baat dekhi thi iss liye kaha, 2012 model aur 2014 end tak 18k were done and there was a clear difference in eurostars as compared to their original condition. Car runs almost daily and at least 1 out of city tour (on GT road, sometimes on bumpy village roads) in a month. Driven with care.
As far as your ride is concerned I think that maybe your most of the journey is within Isb on carpeted roads resulting in less wear and tear of tyres and comfortable journey too. Other areas are not so good in terms of road conditions.

I am with autophile brother ..... i my self drove eurostar tires in my last 2011 model xli.... changed them after 48k didnt find any worse problem ....after then i have installed yoko db pakwheels fvt tire dosent feel any much diff .... yes they were smoother than euro but they were noisy also ....

Having eurostar tires on 2011 xli touched 160 to 180 kmph from Lahore to Multan NHA..... no blast faced

I will post the pics after a wash, don't worry and congratulations for the new car in advance!
I made a loss because of not changing the tires immediately after delivery, otherwise the EuroStars that settled for 12,000 would've gone for 15,000 easily.
To be very honest, the grip, driving pleasure, cornering ability has dramatically increased. On the stock tires it used to seem that as if the car is not in contact with the road, with these Michelins the story has changed altogether. Even my mother who is not a car person said that the car feels a lot more comfortable after these new tires.

Alright guys time to bust the so-called "under-powered" blind baseless theories.
Finally took the car to Monal today, 4 occupants on board and half tank of fuel, covered half the distance in full AC and afterwards kept switching it on and off according to the incline.
Not even ONCE it felt like the car was giving up or struggling to its bits, went quite smooth all the way despite the fact that I was stuck behind some slowpokes because of whom I occasionally had to brake in-between an incline.
The car went very smoothly even through the toughest curves where normally cars have to struggle to climb, I must say I am impressed and now can even take this car to Northern Areas In Shaa Allah.
The Michelins have certainly improved the handling and grip otherwise before the tires changed I didn't even think of taking it up there on the crappy EuroStars.

The motors are very powerful.
We often take our insight to murree or margalla hills. Despite of having smaller engine and just 11 or 14 hp motor it climbs like a boss.
The low end torque of motors are very good.
You press the accelerator, RPM at 1.5 but the assist comes and the car climbs the toughest inclines.
Prius engine develops a limited power but the motors are very powerful so basically a hybird performs better uphills until it has battery.
