I say intriguing about the Bajaj RE60 as it has the potential to achieve what the Nano could not and that is become the "People's Car". The Nano is a proper car whereas the RE is an autorickshaw with a fourth wheel. The Nano has become gentrifired and upmarket , meaning more expensive, while this will be priced at approx Rs1.5lac and any roadside mechanic can bang at it and get it going if it comes to that. Yet , it can seat four in comfort and protect from the elements. It has the potential and i hope this one succeeds where the Nano failed in providing cheap, yet fairly secure individual transportation for the masses.
the next "hippie" car?...
