All those people who booked their cars for OWN money are on fire here. I am sure none of you will cancel their bookings. And for those who cannot stop praising Toyota Indus, please don't forget that Indus ,Atlas & PakSuzuki are on the same team. I am disappointed to the core myself but if i like Honda City , i am left with no option but to buy the car because we don't have multiple options in this segment. Being an older generation it's still better then the latest generation Yaris and with the passage of time these prices will definitely get leveled with Toyota.

Altis is next category car , its compact vs subcompact.

Yaris and city are subcompacts.Apple for an apple comparison. Just like you cant compare daihatsu move with passo.

Yaris topmline on road is 30.5 lac. City top line on road is 33.2 lac

Yes true, Altis is a next category but many will still prefer Aspire over Altis because of features which Altis doesn’t have. People go for features now. And don’t forget, this city is much spacious and almost have corolla like rear legroom.

Yes what if a superior category dont have basic featues no safety featues no cvt ?? Because in Pakistan mostly people are illiterate they dont know what cvt and 4 speed auto gear and how necessary these safety things are they just buy a car how does it look

People are free to buy whatever they want , but here on this forum we discuss in detail the pros and cons of the car and why should one over the other.The aesthetic and technical aspects of the cars and what gimmicky and real features the car has. I mean we have posters here who downplay the inportance of VSC only because it is not present in the beloved city whereas studies have shown that VSC makes the car 67 percent safer in case the car loses control and then there is traction control which gives better control to the car.

Ofcourse people will buy what they want to buy but that doesnt mean its the right thing they are buying.

City will sell no matter what we say. The only caveat being strengthening Atlas's thinking that they are; and will be selling this car for the next 10 years with minor tweaks. This formula has worked for them previously so why not again.
I don't see Indus changing Yaris either in these 10 years except for the facelifts. It will continue having its sales as well.

This is the reality which is to be faced by upper middle class like us who's arguing over which car is better. I remember we got our grande for 27lac back in 2017. Itnay mei Tu ab new cars Ka base variant bhi nai aata so to speak.

I'm one of the people who pre booked the car on the 2nd day and have tentative delivery date of end December.
For me to price the car at nearly 3.2million is extortion
Honda had already decided on these prices and cleverly waited for the reveal till after all other companies had cut their prices, so they didn't pass a penny to the consumer.

Now that I have booked the car,
Will I still take the delivery: Yes

Would I have booked the car if I knew the price: NO
