I had an opportunity to have test drive of Aspire 1.5 CVT in Islamabad Honda show room.
Tests drives are not to gauge as the have prescribed route and u really can not have real test drive under those conditions as Billions profiting companies not even offer test drive so that you can test its all features including Cruise control.
My along with my family has experience which is worth sharing.
seats are no doubt comfortable and spacious and family had very good experience of having rear AC Vents.
other feature like auto retractable mirrors and Infotainment sys and allied features are rerely used or tested in such short test drive pool.
about the fuel average which I could see was 10.7 meaning there by it will be giving some 10+ average in city with AC.
No doubt shocks and suspension is better than 5th generation.
Rest what all you can expect from Honda who have totally copied Grace with same exterior and interior.
I would not totally compare it with Yaris ATIV 1.5 CVT because I have driven it and it has different experience.
some where Yaris has edge over Aspire being product of Toyota and in some cases its superiority over yaris.
One thing everyone should be discussing that the Honda and toyota 3 yrs back were almost around Rs 2 Mn and now they are over 3 Mn.
some one bullies Honda for giving piece of Sh*t for 3.2 Million but doesn't criticise Yaris for having less features for Rs 3 Mn prefering 1.6 Altis for 3.5 Mn having somehow same features. No one talks about 4 Mn Grande X for just having sort of stylish sporty bumpers.
Very frankly this buying new car has become business of Rich people those even dont bother to pay 4 lacs On.
Middle class cant think buying new car even Alto vx, they cant save much money out of their pockets. They have to resort to 2nd hand
Mehran, coure, alto 1000 cc, cultus 2k models or baleno etc cars.
No one talks that all these car assemblers declaring Billions of profit have not redcused the car prices, its only Government taxes which have reduced the prices for time being.
No one talkes about the car assemblers as they are not manufacturers which they had to be so that prices are not Dollar dependent.
One thing we are talking about CVT a lot,
I had Mira 2012 model having CVT and we are very happy that honda and Toyota has introduced this if not obsolete but atleast decade old technology to us in 2020/21.
Why some one doesn't talk about bringing CEOs of these companies and be thrashed as enchor person do with politicians and office holders.
And lastly most of dont give comments or share our experiences but impose our biased and irrational observations just fir the sake of negating others. come what may.
