Can't comment on other variants. I got to drive aspire 1.5 MT for a week, loved it. I found it way better than GLI in terms of handling and acceleration.

It was within the family and hence I had an extended test drive . Had the car for a whole week.

My heart said purchase it as it was for sale but my back made me change my decision as it killed my back and I found it very uncomfortable.

Disclaimer: Have back issues. May be for others it would be an excellent choice.

Nopes not at all, I found it smooth and powerful. It easily gives you 10-11 km/l within city.

Cruise control is a good addition. Lets hope for VSC, EDB and TC.

Is this gen better than the last one in term of suspension? I heard that it has a slightly softer suspension than the last gen. Is it true?

How hard is the suspension & does the seat cushioning cover it so some extent? To put it bluntly, does the tailbone hurt on longer drives?

Would you recommend City for someone with mild back issue.

May be old but I love the shape and overall the car in general; but seating comfort is critical for me due to medical issues.

You should get an ortho seat cushion. That should help bro.
I don't think k it's gonna be as soft as Yaris. But in my experience softer suspensions rock the car more and though u dnt feel the sudden jerks , the over all driving experience is not good.
All cars in this segment have same suspension setup, other than saga (which has surprisingly a more sophisticated setup). The auto manf just tunes it for softer or stiffer ride. Honda normally would always go for stiff as it gives a better steering feel.

Let's hope Atlas learns something from Kia here, the seats of Picanto or Sportage are some of the comfiest in PK. Let them compensate the stiff suspension with better seats this time. Otherwise 5th Gen seats sucked big time!

Dil to city pay hi hai.. Price ki tension hai..
Can't manage beyond 30-31. And don't want to go for 1.2 variant hence probably will have to wait till official launch and even more as I won't be paying own even if I have to wait 6m+ for delivery.

I can't compare it with previous gen, since 6 th gen was launched way back in 2014 here and I never got a chance to drive the 5 th gen model.

Being said that , I have made extensive long trips with this cars on all kinds of roads (ghats, highways etc) along with my parents, and they never suffered from back issues or anything like that till date

You should use lumber support and ortho seat easily available in market. Not very expensive. Car is not bad.
