I booked the base 1.5 CVT on the first day. My payorder apparently got deposited 5 days later and now I've gotten 30th October delivery time. Talked to the honda point salesman last week. In other words/defensive words he basically said to find a contact within honda to get the car any time soon. Big laanat to honda atlas, honda point and all the investors. I'm sure we'd be seeing a lot of the own paid cars from August. Honest non own paying people will get them much later. Btw did anyone get sep 30 or aug 30 delivery date?

Unfortunately there isn't much to discuss about the city right now with the lack of info from honda and most info of 6th gen already being there on the web. I believe the feature reveals by atlas stopped cause there isn't anything else remaining. So I believe the aspire is gonna have 1/2 airbags, stop start button, cruise control, media control on steering and all the other usual aspire trim stuff like leather, nav, alloys. Base model will just have airbags. The 1.5 base CVT might have some extra features depending on the price point compared to 1.2.

I really hope they at least add electric mirror retract.

Coming back to the topic.

One thing that should be avoided in the new Honda City is the use of "piano black" in the interior atleast. The thing is really prone to scratches even if you use microfiber cloth and a good interior detailer.

Secondly the imid on the aspire model should atleast have the boot open icon.

I think the Rim design shown is not bad. Most probably we will be getting the BG tyre from General which i hope is good enough.
