Please correct me if I'm wrong but that penalty is only applicable on full payment bookings not partial. That 60 day period starts when you make your full payment. That is why all the companies are taking bookings on partial payment. They reach out to you for full payment a month or two prior to delivery.

its definitely will be designed to facilitate customer and end this lanat of ON culture....

def if you are asking company to deliver within 60 days... you just pay them complete price or as per defined policy....

it could be for booking...not full payment.... will further clarify in next few weeks .

customer will def like to pay full if he's getting car within 60 days and w.o paying premium price of 50k- upto 200-300k just to get early delivery ....

Competing with Indus will be harder for Atlas as Indus has turned its focus completely towards Yaris. Corolla deliveries are at least November/December. Atlas is going to push the 11th Gen Civic soon as well, so they can not delay deliveries of the 10th Gen.

Civic sales are on decline as well , there is no reason why they cant push the pedal on honda city.

I don’t know what’s wrong with Atlas. Booked late May and got message of Oct delivery. Today got this revised booking message saying delivery pushed to Dec! R they insane. No one picks up the call centre number and dealership says we can’t do anything about it.

Cancel the booking, get a Yaris. Tell them that toyota is delivering on time. Atlas will sell one less City. If enough people do this, Atlas will learn a lesson. Convince a few others in your circle against City.

This delayed deliveries ki laanat and own ki laanat can be corrected by us customers only and permanently.

Jitna inko bardasht karain ge utna ye companies sir pe charhain gi. Take the action, cancel the booking, for your future self and every customers' benefit.

Well this is a new low for Atlas. Seems like they are aiming hard at pleasing investors. Can you please tell which variant you booked exactly?

I booked 1.5 base cvt on the first day and got oct 30th which is bad enough already. I am for sure going to cancel if I get this BS delay message.

In India the Top of the Line variant was not even available for test drive. Honda par andha aitimad karkey khareeda tha India walon nay

Many people advocated not to book city for few reasons

1. Price unknown
2. features unknown
3. performance of 1.2 Liter engine unknown
4. Quality unknown (Previous history for Honda suggests that 1st year they learn from the post production models .

Is Quom ko buht shook hai ON ka ya phir khuddey main girney ka tu good hai .If people like us start following best practices companies like Honda will learn there lesson other wise the saga continues .It is US/we people to blame for rather than any one else

Atlas know there are enough fan boys out there who always say "shity shity hai", "city tu har haal main chale gi". All car manufacturer are morally corrupt in PK, but this time, Atlas really touched new low just because they know mentality of fanboys. No price details, no feature details, they don't even bothered to showcase the any model and people like booking like crazy.

Raising voice on this forum is good, but only solid action can correct the market. If few hundreds buyers cancel their booking on delayed delivery, it will make a real impact, Atlas will be careful in rewarding their investor too much. ACTIONS! not the complains will make some impact.

Civic delivery time is December 2021 if you book one right now and there is 300k own on the car. Surprised but Civic sales are still very high

this does seem to be true for a lot of people. What blows my mind is this: Honda is able to produce 3500 cars a month. Let's assume 2k are City. Looking at these delivery times, one can only draw the simple conclusion that Honda has booked over 16k Honda City, as they are giving delivery times of upto March 2022. That's not a lot... Seems like the problem is simply slow production

People pay own because of its name , totally unjustified. I see less and less unregistered civics these days , they are taking care of their previous orders. Suvs have blunted its sales a big deal.

Might be that. Considering that Honda still posts sales with increases, I highly doubt that. If SUV sales had affected Atlas, they would be making better moves. The new City is proof that Yaris has affected it. So they will try to one up Yaris at the same price. Jokes apart, if the City is priced at 30 lacs, it will be a killer deal.

Only if people will get a hang of it in time. The delivery time will factor in big time too.
