I am not their representative , people are already finding out the good the bad and the ugly about the car ( and mostly the bad things). My point is that dabbay channel is a rant channel mostly , everything he says must be taken with a pinch of salt.

One of my relative booked 1.5 CVT simple version when booking started and got 31 August tentative delivery date.

Dealer told price would be 3.0m and Aspire 3.2, only different would be leather seats and alloy rims. I agreed with prices but not the features difference.

This seems somewhat true in my opinion, given the competition with the Yaris Ativ 1.3 variants. 1.5 CVT cannot be barebone, otherwise it'll be a bad move from Atlas. Most probably there will be 3 trims in City to match with its main competitor.

Feature gap will be wider. Most of the features that are in Ativ X but not in Ativ will also be missing from 1.5 CVT City.

IMHO, 3 mil for 1.5 base variant is steep.. ATIV X 1.5 ex factory price is 3.05 mil.

2 lac difference for just leather seats and alloys is too much... I think there will be a bunch of other differences in the aspire variant as well...

If Honda actually fixes 3.2 mil (ex Factory) for aspire variant then this isn't a competitive price even with all the goodies that they have teased so far...

And I seriously doubt that dealerships have the actual prices available ... they are also just making educated guesses...

We will see when Honda officially launches the City...

if the features they are advertising come standard on the 1.5 trim priced at 3 mil, than its a neat deal imo. Most of these features are what the pkdm buyer "aspires" for, lol

But also if they give that basic yellow teeth meter and audio in 1.2 version and price it more than 2.6M it would be equaly bad

Yes it's true. One of my colleague has worked at procon for more than 2 years before joining in my current organization. I asked him about the localization of parts and how the big 3 are taking bulk orders from them. He told all parts from seats to every small part and interior paneling are all made at procon. They have received orders for 6th gen (he told this way back in January) .

With the current options in market I compared vitz 2017-18 and yaris 1.3 cvt ativ in 25-28 range and still will compare the specs of city 1.2 cvt when it's officially launched. My requirement is compact sedan or hatch , Good AC , decent initial pick . Fuel average is not my main concern.

Look into Passo Moda in this budget, loaded with features, large hatchback, and Toyota.
In brand new, Yaris ATIV 1.3 CVT is a great option.

Alsvin ki quality to phir accep[table honi chaheay... haven't see it in person so cant comment.

Hilux is a great vehicle. But I don't think a corolla would've survived the same punishment.

alsvin ki interior quality is OK(fit and finish) , yes the materials could have been better.

Problems are with fuel lid.
Paint finish(orange peel effect)
Poorly installed rear parking sensors.
Poor finishing of lining of sunroof.

The suspensions are good and pick is just ok.

Funny that you think corolla and Yaris will survive the same way as Hilux. If that was the case, civic and city would've been failed cars throughout the world.

Current delivery time is January for 1.2 CVT. Yaris 1.3 will be the best choice for you in that range. Used Japanese cars are not nearly as reliable as you'd think. Go for city only if it is 1.5, 1.2 will have horrible acceleration, especially with CVT.

Bhai log some people are too sensitive about City. City is a sacred cow how dare anyone criticize it.
