Why couldn't they give Yaris sedan the same face as Vitz? Suzuki Cultus (previous model) and Suzuki Margalla shared the same face. So it's not something impossible.

Looks, colour etc have always been subjective and upto somebodys preference. I sometimes still think the 5th Gen City 1.5 Aspire in taffeta white with Shark fin antenna looks much better in comparison to a blacked out yaris. But then again im a yaris owner and i like a few things about it and i despise others about it.

I dont like yaris' front at all. For me the back lights are good. For others they might be ugly.

I think collectively we all can agree, city 7th gen would have been more beautiful than all sedans in this category. But alas our luck.

I still think 6th gen 1.5 city aspire in graphite grey would look really nice.

If it comes to the front side....i think alsvin takes the cake from all the remaining 2 competitors; yaris and to be launched 6th gen city.

Side profile.....i would prefer city 6th gen or alsvin over yaris hands down.

I like yaris' back (only because of the lights). Need to see to 6th gen lights to compare though. But in comparison to alsvin's back i would go for yaris hands down.

Blindly supporting the car you bought is stupidity. Every car has its positives and negatives. And we all have bought them following our own prefernces.

The features given by Atlas in 6th gen are no doubt more than Yaris and will break away alot of potential yaris buyers.

bhai, if you hear IMC CEO interview, he is also chairman for pama. he said xli/gli are discontinued due to yaris variant, yaris is introduced to compete with honda city, corolla is to civic.

Alsvin will still be better looking than the 6th gen city. I agree that if yaris gets a facelift then it will be less ugly but still very very ugly

Actually Aslvin, may look better to some people in looks, but all the low fit and finish is a big turn off.. Also their aftersale support is not good and these Chinese players yet have to prove their durability and reliability.

I am not sure DCT in Alsvin working mechanism is same as of VEZEL DCT, but I am afraid if Honda after decades of development and innovation still not able to rectify issues in DCT then how will these Chinese vendor will do with DCT.

For me, buying an old used 5th Gen City is still a better choice than buying brandnew alsvin.

We are talking about looks at the moment and not where it comes from , it may turn off a few but it is still a very good looking car. Despite fit and finish issues , it still has a very good ride quality and amazing fuel average.

Used City is not a good choice. Better to go for Yaris. As the market currently stands (without 6th gen), Yaris is the best car to buy in comparison to the 5th gen City

I was talking in comparison with Alsvin... that may be in 23 24 budget.. i may prefer city over brandnew alsvin..

In current situation, specially considering delivery timeline, Yaris is a good option..

you should compare alsvin to picanto cultus or saga tbh. That car is not a competitor for yaris or city. its a cheap product. Even changan intl dont compare it with yaris. Chinese would make a B segment to compete in the A segment. thats how it goes. If changan pakistan is selling it for exuberant prices, doesnt mean that it magicaly became a higher tier car.

He is probably saying Alsvin does not deserve the same status as Yaris or City. It is poor built quality and priced way beyond it should be. Although not a hatchback, it is still not worth more than the hatchbacks. That is what Shapeesh is saying.

lol , as if the quality of pkdm B segment sedans are top notch. Like it or not , Alsvin is their competitor and thats how people see it here. Ciaz didnt sell well , didnt mean that it wasnt a B segment good sedan. We dont like it because its chinese , despite it giving a good fuel economy and ride comfort at the moment. Suspensions are good too.

I am sorry dear let it run for 2-3 years and prove itself. I don't see Alsvin going more than 3-4 years in Pakistan. It's fate is going to be similar to Faw V2.
