"if" being the key word here. I don't see that happening.
I think equivalent model city will cost at least 1 lac more than yaris.
In India, Yaris 1.5 manual is 8.87 lac while 7th gen city costs 10.9 lac. Auto yaris costs 9.57 lac while city is 12.24 lac.
But Indian city is full of features, atlas Honda will strip most of them out to keep the prices down.

Honda Vendors till not received any order from Honda regarding 7th generation city...
I think Honda is between 6th and 7th generation...7th generation required plant upgradation and huge investment and also time taking process like mid or end of 2021 for new model.

Then You Can Expect 1 more Facelift of 5th generation between this time span which can include
1. Dual Airbags in all variants
2. Climate Control in Aspire
3. SunRoof in Aspire to give an Edge over Yaris
4. Multimedia steering
5. 16 inches Alloy wheels
6. New Tail lights And Some more Cosmetic changes

To refresh their current model with very little investment
