Correct me if am wrong ... Front headlights are facelift ones(2017 onwards)(but with halogen lamps not LED headlamps). And rear lights are pre facelift ones. If that's the case then it's atrocious of Atlas to do this. Looking at the specs, 1.5 Aspire cvt is the only variant which is looking somewhat okay in terms of features given. Rest of them are barebones. Extremely disappointing..

That's just absurd. Yaris Ativ X is 2.9 mil, Honda is ALWAYS above Toyota in pricing. Aspire will easily be above 3 million.

Again, it will be more than the base Yaris as you are getting slightly more standard equipment for your money and "iT's hOnDa" so it will be more than the base variant Yaris.

Also, don't exactly know why people are complaining that we have the 6th gen here. Almost all cars in Pakistan are a generation behind? The ones that aren't are imported. And do keep in mind, Yaris sedan is a pretty old car worldwide. It's not exactly new. The entire "it's an old model' discussion is irrelevant as we can't force a company to introduce the latest and greatest in their lineup. If 7th gen was released, this forum would be full of complaints regarding its price. Considering all the features Honda is offering, the Aspire seems to be a good deal, even at 3.0 million, as all the stuff is OEM fitted.

The only disappointment is the old style MID, which shouldn't be called an MFD. It's simply a trip meter. Toyota has provided really good MFDs, even in comparison to Civic. If you really want the MFD to be a revolutionary factor, go ahead. The lack of VSC, TC and HSC is not big enough to draw someone away from a car in this segment. Regardless, expect these features to be added in "facelifts" as this car already has sharkfin antennas

no, there is no mention of leather seats in Aspire. But if you look at the pics of Aspire, leather is there but again, you can see leather stitched steering in one of the pics

City being less underpowered does not mean it is automatically a 500hp rwd supercar with a need for tc. At the end of the day it is still only 118hp. Nothing to worry about.

VSC/ESC is mandatory in many countries, even India is considering to make TC mandatory. I am sure there are more qualified people making these decisions.

Also, don't exactly know why people are complaining that we have the 6th gen here. Almost all cars in Pakistan are a generation behind?

Dunno about others but I complain about all dumped outdated cars here.

If 7th gen was released, this forum would be full of complaints regarding its price.

Everything has a worth, and if sold above its worth, complaints should be made.

Regardless, expect these features to be added in "facelifts" as this car already has sharkfin antennas

And expect Yaris facelift to add all the features it is missing too, and Yaris has the missing features in other markets, but 6th gen City doesn't have HSA, VSC and TC in most markets.

Even the 5th gen city had TC. The 6th gen ECU has both VSC and TC, you just can't turn them off. When the car is launched and the ECU is played around with, I think people will simply add buttons if you want to turn it off or something. These systems are always present in cars, the option to turn them off is not always available.

But I do understand what you're saying and I think Honda should include these, but none of these factors really take away from the car a lot. Credit where it's due, this car is pretty loaded from the OEM.

Traction control is part of stability control . If you have VSC, traction control will be there automatically.. all these work on conjunction with each other. Please don't undermine the feature which is there for a safety and which is a standard equipment even if it's a base model small urban city vehcile.

Globally car companies cant sell vehicle without VSC, I m sure people who make rules are not stupid.

GLI FL is selling at insane prices due to customers. This is why buyer needs to be educated. What GLi has, it should not be a penny above 2.0 million PKR. Specially after rotting in some looters' shop for more than a year.

That's what I am saying. ECUs have these features built in. Honda Pakistan will never acknowledge these features but they are available in the ECU. The current gen Civic uses an American ECU. Most items are plug and play on the car, features like paddle shifters. If companies start admitting these on documentation, or if they show you that you can do it for cheap, it will damage their sales. Depends on the ECU this City will have, but let's assume it's the Thai ECU. If the thai model comes with VSC, this car will have VSC. TC is kind of always there in almost every ECU because it is important to prevent damage to gearboxes and other components of the car. You can feel power cutting when you try to break traction, even in the old City (automatic)

Because back in 2017-18, 5th generation City was a relic. And yes I do agree even then it should have been priced below City Aspire. I mean XLi doesn't even have ABS.
