You think honda will price their car below the mid spec alsvin? By that logic the cheapo chink is a better car, which its not.
you have no idea what you are talking about.
WRONG., VSC does need instructions from the ECU which the ECU can only send after calculating the readings from the ABS rotation sensors AND the "Body control module" which needs to have a gyro, a YO sensor and sometimes a G sensor (plus a liscence from the protocol manufacturer). That is normaly located in the center of the car. A car which lacks this part of BCM cannot have VSC even if the ECU has the ability to read it. e.g. Sportage alpha is most probably without that so it has no VSC
Indian Yaris doesnt have these in the basic variant I think. Toyota has to include the updated BCM in cars along with the liscence fee for the VSC supplier. Now toyota I think owns their VSC but that was also co developed with BOSCH so I think they still have to pay individual liscence for it.
for cars with ECU and ABS present, the additional cost ranges from 150-250$ approx, this was NHTSA figure, car manufacturers might disagree.
VSC omission is a bad bad bad choice, but the std retract mirrors, telescopic steer, and rear vents are good options.
Lets hope they missed to print the VSC as atleast for me its a deciding factor,
