Not really. It is only responsive in the manual version. The auto just drives you to the realms of craziness.
As far as space is concerned, the video Pakwheels just posted make it seem like there is a lot more space for the back row passengers. And like I said, it's your personal preference. If it was me, I would sacrifice some space for the wide array of other features I am getting in an Aspire. The 1.6 does not have VSC, Cruise, Seat height adjuster, digital climate as well. And I think the 6th gen is lighter as well. U get 2 more cabin lights in a City and the boot is just very very big, like it always has been in a City.
