People are free to buy whatever they want , but here on this forum we discuss in detail the pros and cons of the car and why should one over the other.The aesthetic and technical aspects of the cars and what gimmicky and real features the car has. I mean we have posters here who downplay the inportance of VSC only because it is not present in the beloved city whereas studies have shown that VSC makes the car 67 percent safer in case the car loses control and then there is traction control which gives better control to the car.

Ofcourse people will buy what they want to buy but that doesnt mean its the right thing they are buying.

City will sell no matter what we say. The only caveat being strengthening Atlas's thinking that they are; and will be selling this car for the next 10 years with minor tweaks. This formula has worked for them previously so why not again.
I don't see Indus changing Yaris either in these 10 years except for the facelifts. It will continue having its sales as well.

This is the reality which is to be faced by upper middle class like us who's arguing over which car is better. I remember we got our grande for 27lac back in 2017. Itnay mei Tu ab new cars Ka base variant bhi nai aata so to speak.

I'm one of the people who pre booked the car on the 2nd day and have tentative delivery date of end December.
For me to price the car at nearly 3.2million is extortion
Honda had already decided on these prices and cleverly waited for the reveal till after all other companies had cut their prices, so they didn't pass a penny to the consumer.

Now that I have booked the car,
Will I still take the delivery: Yes

Would I have booked the car if I knew the price: NO

A couple of my friends have decided to cancel their bookings , one is getting it because he thinks that 1.2 cvt will give a great fuel economy. Hope he is not dissapointed. Another colleague was waiting for price reveal and he refuses to be extorted and instead going for yaris.
As i said this car is a test for honda fanbase.

I would never buy a yaris , i am a husan parast.

What about cruise control, auto retractable mirrors, seat height adjuster, rear ac vents? And don’t forget City engine is more powerful and won’t be sluggish like Yaris 1.5

Another interesting defence to ridiculous pricing, because it offer few "features" it can compete with upper category, with this intelligent logic, a Honda N One is 100 times better than city with 8 airbags, radar and many more features.

People always buy vehicles according to their need/requirement and affiliation with brands, some people might find Aspire better suited who mostly travel within city with better roads, for someone who travel a lot and on different road conditions Yaris or Altis will make sense.

Yaris will outperform city any day in comfortable ride on any rough and tough terrain, City will always beat yaris in Looks and power delivery. Now people will decide what matter more for them.

Dude, Cultus almost overlapping Swift price but people still prefer Cultus over Swift why? I hope you’ll get the answer

Because Swift is notorious for fuel economy and lies between price bracket of sedan with average look when it launched despite the fact it's hatch back. Pakistnai market is 1000ccc oriented market when it comes to small hatchbacks and fuel economy is priority in that segment.

Plus giving example of a non-selling hatchback and comparing it with a Pakistan top selling hot cake sedan itself shows frustration of boys to justify the outrageous price.

Same is the case with Altis 1.6 its notorious for fuel economy and have old decade 4 speed automatic transmission and nothing to offer as compared to Aspire.

It still have better fuel economy than old city prosmatec 1.5, Plus it's top selling in it's category.

Those who want comfort, build quality, upper segment car for all terrain and bigger hot selling sedan will compromise on fuel economy. Those who want an outdated model with stiff ride but quick acceleration and retractable mirrors & cruise control will buy aspire. But it doesn't make city an upper segment car no matter how hard "fannymanies" tries.
